Its Day 30! I can’t believe its over already, and yet I feel like I’ve been doing this forever. For my last day, I decided to keep the theme “giving” in mind and share my creativity with the world.
It all began when I started to get frustrated at 7am. So, instead of yelling at my little one to get ready faster for summer camp, I decided to doodle a heart to put in her lunch bag while I waited for her to get ready. (Oh yeah, that’s a spiderman backpack! he he!)
Then, my oldest and I decided to “hide” our painted rocks around town for other people to find them.
She insisted that we put little notes attached to each one! :)
As we continued around town, we left our mark everywhere we could!
We had so much fun thinking of different things we could create for other people to find. Granted, my daughter did most of the creative work today since I was busy with the little ones, but it was an amazing collaborative project nonetheless.
It was a great day. I think tomorrow, I’m going to write “Enjoy the happy moments” along the street so that people can read it as they walk by. :)
So tomorrow, I finally have a day off from blogging! (Yay, just in time for 4th of July!) Although I will not have a day off from being present, relishing the happy moments, and expressing my creativity. I still don’t think it has become a natural habit for me yet, but I will keep working at it.
