Although today’s challenge didn’t produce anything amazing, it did help me to think creatively all day!
As I mentioned yesterday, I decided to try and give myself daily creative challenges in order to help my mind go into creative mode more often throughout the day. Today’s challenge was to create a sculpture or an arrangement using objects around the house.
My first inspiration was a pile of fabric that I had ripped off the bottom of my curtains (because they were too long). When I crumpled it up on the floor, it looked a bit like an octopus; so I played with it to make some more legs. Though, looking at it now, it also looks like a flower facing up with a HUGE center! lol
As I was cleaning up, I found these hooks, and arranged them into a heart. :)
My four year old LOVES movies. There’s always a pile of DVD’s on the floor from her looking through the collection. So, my oldest and I decided to create a ninja tower!
One of my examples of a quick creative project that I listed yesterday was to sculpt with tin foil. I just had to give it a try! Can you guess what it is?
A sea lion! he he! :)
Today’s creativity was so much fun. It really helped to have a challenge as my guide.
Tomorrow’s challenge is to go on an inspiration hunt. I hope to take some photos to use as inspiration for future projects.
Yay! I can’t wait!
