Kristal, I love this idea of inviting children to take part in it. I work with a group of young girls on Wednesday nights and we craft each week and I think this would be a great weekly activity for them, to free them up a bit. My thoughts are to have them paint in their notebooks each week and the following week attach a printed out copy of their memory verse to the dried work. Some of the girls are kindergarteners and can’t write yet. :) Do you glue several pages together before painting or is each work done without concern of bleed-through?
Thank you for spreading the love to all those children! I find that many of the craft kits available to them nowadays are too restricting. We need to let them keep their sense of play! :) And yes, I do glue two pages together before I paint on them, otherwise they get too soggy. Another idea is to glue a piece of decorative paper to the page before painting on it.
Such wonderful freedom!
This is wonderful! Reminds me of doing arts and crafts with my kids when they were that age. I had a few baskets of art supplies for them so they could make their own creations. It was so much fun!
This is so cool. I am definitely going to try it with my daughter! Thanks so much for the great video!
I love it!! I´ll try it with my students. Thank you!!! Hugs from Buenos Aires!
