I feel like I’m on a roller coaster. My days keep going from bad to good; to good to bad.
Another day with no photos. :(
It was really tough to break my mind out of auto mode today, because the day was filled with mostly chores. We were all hoping to do something fun, but as most Saturday’s go, we had to catch up on house and yard work.
I guess I should get used to all these ups and downs. I’m still at the beginning of my journey, and I have a ways to go before I master the art of living moment by moment. Maybe it will always be a struggle like this, who knows. But I’m hoping it will get easier. We can only wait and see.
As for bringing creativity into everyday, I am real proud of myself for not having missed a single day! After the kids went to bed, I worked on finishing my project I started yesterday. I am so excited how it came out!
My very first hand stitched journal! Yay! The fabric, the paper, the stitching, the buttons, Oh My!
I am in LOVE. And I can’t wait to do some art journaling in it!
Don't miss a single, inspiring thing!

Wow, I can’t keep up with you! That journal is amazing! The stitching is super cool on the sides and front! Great work! Love the pics of the girls too.:) keep up the momentum! Marla
Thanks so much Marla! I feel like I’ve been doing this way longer than 8 days! lol
I wanted just X stitching on the book, but couldn’t figure out how to do it. The only way it was possible was to have an X overlap the other two. It came out pretty cool though!
I absolutely love how your art journal turned out! This is very inspiring for me. I hope to be able to report back to you soon that I’ve created my very first! :)
Thanks so much Lindy! I can’t wait to see your first journal too! Don’t forget to let me know! :)
I know it is some time ago but this journal is awesome. Thank you for the inspiration
